Usage
  1. comhachainí ó chreidiúnaí agus ó ranníocóir = the joint petition of a creditor and of a contributory
  2. roimh dháta an ordaithe bhreithnithe nó roimh dháta comhdaithe na hachainí comhshocraíochta (de réir mar a bheidh) = before the date of the order of adjudication or the filing of the petition for arrangement (as the case may be)
  3. is cead do thromlach de chomhaltaí Sheanad ireann i bhfochair trian ar a laghad de chomaltaí Dháil ireann comhachainí a chur chun an Uachtaráin = a majority of the members of Seanad ireann and not less than one-third of the members of Dáil ireann may be a joint petition addressed by them to the President
  4. mura ndéanann an comhalta sin de réir na hachainí sin ní foláir don Uachtarán an comhalta sin a chur as oifig má chomhairlíonn an Taoiseach dó é = should the member concerned fail to comply with the request his appointment shall be terminated by the President if the Taoiseach so advises
  5. ní ghlacfar le hachainí seachas achainí arna tíolacadh ag an Ard-Aighne, lena taisceadh sa chúirt mura dtaiscfidh an t-achainíoch urrús i leith na gcostas = a petition other than a petition presented by the Attorney General shall not be accepted for lodgement with the Court unless the petitioner lodges security for costs
