Usage
  1. tacóidh sé leis an bhfiúchas daonlathach atá cumhdaithe sa Bhunreacht = it shall uphold the democratic values enshrined in the Constitution
  2. faoi urlámhas ag aicme creidimh atá admhaithe ag an Stát faoi airteagal 44 den Bhunreacht = under the control of a religion recognised by the State under Article 44 of the Constitution
  3. ní cead don Oireachtas aon dlí a achtú a bheadh ar aon chuma in aghaidh an Bhunreachta seo = the Oireachtas shall not enact any law which is in any respect repugnant to this Constitution
  4. Forais Ardoideachais do Thoghadh Comhaltaí de Sheanad ireann, reifrinn bhunreachta, san Fhoscríbhinn = Election of Members of Seanad ireann by Institutions of Higher Education, constitutional referenda, in the Appendix

  8. de bhrí gur cead foráileamh ar bith den Bhunreacht do leasú, an naoú leasú a bhéarfar ar an leasú a dhéantar leis an Acht seo = whereas any provision of the Constitution may be amended, the amendment effected by this Act shall be called the Ninth Amendment

  12. na dlíthe a bheas i bhfeidhm roimh lá an Bhunreacht seo a theacht i ngníomh leanfaid de bheith i lánfheidhm agus i lánéifeacht sa mhéid nach bhfuilid ina choinne = to the extent to which they are not inconsistent therewith the laws in force prior to the date of the coming into operation of this Constitution shall continue to be of full force and effect
  13. aon duine nó dream a n-údaraítear go cuí dóibh le dlí feidhmeanna teoranta breithiúnais a oibriú i gcúrsaí nach cúrsaí coireachta ní bheidh an t-oibriú sin gan bhail dlí de bhíthin aon ní sa Bhunreacht seo = nothing in this Constitution shall operate to invalidate the exercise of limited functions of a judicial nature in matters other than criminal matters by any person or body of persons duly authorised by law
