Usage
  1. to debate something = rud a phlé or a chaibidil
  2. a member who persists in irrelevance or repetition in debate = aon chomhalta a leanfaidh de bheith ag déanamh cainte nach mbaineann le hábhar díospóireachta de bheith ag athrá na cainte céanna
  3. the debate shall be confined to the general principle of the Bill = sa díospóireacht thráchtfar ach ar bhunbhrí an Bhille
  4. a seconder may reserve his speech till a later stage of the debate = féadfaidh cuiditheoir a óráid a choimeád siar go dtí tráth níos déanaí sa díospóireacht
  5. a question already barred from debate or that the motion is an abuse of these Standing Orders = ceist ar coisceadh díospóireacht uirthi cheana -úsáid ar na Buan-Orduithe seo an tairiscint
  6. a motion or amendment shall not be debated until the appropriate question has been proposed from the Chair = dhéanfar díospóireacht ar thairiscint ar leasú go dtí go dtairgfear an cheist iomchuí ón gCathaoirleach
